Internal: Within WWF-Philippines, this post reports to the Corporate Partnerships Manager and the Head for Resource Generation and Partnerships; Works in coordination with the Corporate Partnerships Team, Individual Fundraising Team, Program Managers/Coordinators, Communications Unit, and Admin and Finance Units
External: Serves as main WWF contact person for potential partners

Scope of Work

The Corporate Partnerships Officer contributes to WWF-Philippines’ fundraising and sustainability goals by developing and managing strategic partnerships with private sector organizations. The role focuses on engaging corporations to integrate environmental sustainability into their business practices while securing financial and in-kind support for WWF-Philippines’ programs. It involves forging partnerships that help companies understand and adopt sustainable approaches, while also generating resources to support conservation initiatives. 

The officer identifies areas where WWF-Philippines and corporations can collaborate, whether through strategic or project-based partnerships, by aligning WWF’s conservation priorities with corporate performance drivers, creating synergies that deliver mutual value for both organizations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver an annual income target by securing and managing partnerships that contribute to WWF-Philippines’ fundraising and sustainability goals.
Identify and cultivate prospective corporate partners aligned with the mission and values of WWF-Philippines.
Conduct research and due diligence to assess partnership potential and strategic fit of target corporations to be approached for potential partnerships. 
Maintain a strong understanding of WWF-Philippines’ programs and WWF global corporate engagement guidelines to effectively align corporate interests with organizational needs and identify local implementation opportunities. 
Stay updated on developments across business sectors to assess risks and opportunities for WWF-Philippines’ partnership objectives. 
Initiate outreach, prepare and deliver pitch presentations to prospective partners, and conduct negotiations towards securing new corporate partners. 
Collaborate and work closely with the Conservation Team to identify partnerships opportunities and co-develop proposals, concept notes, and tailored engagement packages that deliver impact and align with corporate sustainability goals. 
Efficiently manage the assigned roster of corporate partners by coordinating with Program Managers to ensure timely delivery of project outputs, providing regular updates and impact reports, maintaining strong relationships, and identifying opportunities to renew, expand, or deepen partnerships through value-added services. 
Draft and process partnership documentation including proposals, Memorandum of Agreements (MOAs), billing statements, and reports. 
Update corporate database and maintain accurate records and documentation of all partnership activities and transactions. 
Collaborate with the Communications Team to develop partnership Communication Plan and/or identify and implement co-branding, PR, and media engagement opportunities related to corporate partnerships. 
Ensure consistent representation of WWF-Philippines’ brand, values, and messaging in all partner interactions and public communications. 
Ensure compliance with internal policies, donor requirements, and ethical standards at all stages of corporate engagement. 
Identify and coordinate opportunities for corporate participation in organizational events and advocacy initiatives. 
Perform other tasks as assigned to support partnership development and organizational goals. 

Qualifications

Preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Development Studies, Environmental Studies, or related field 
Minimum of 1 year of experience in corporate fundraising, partnership development, sales, or business development 
Experience working with or in the private sector, preferably in sustainability, CSR, or nonprofit partnerships 
Ability to understand internal business processes of all sectors and identify collaboration opportunities.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and presentation skills 
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills 
Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset 
Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize competing demands 
An understanding of general business practices and the local business environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM or donor management systems 
High level of professionalism, integrity, and alignment with the mission of WWF-Philippines 
Experience in Account Management / Relationship Management is a plus.
